On November 18 and 19 the Marshall County High School Fine Arts Department presents Macbeth at the Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center. Directed by Ethan May performance times are 7:00 p.m. both November 18 and 19. Shakespeare’s Macbeth was first performed in 1606 before James I at Hampton Court Palace. Set in Scotland the tragedy opens with a prophesy that Macbeth will become the king. Along with Lady Macbeth the duo plot to kill King Duncan so Macbeth may take over the throne.
